our house was built of old
of course we've smelled it. we know the hall's going. we know a new pool's coming. we know things are changing. but certainly not this -- not pulling down every old building old classroom old corridor old balcony old playground in the school despite their historical value, wiping out 13 years of my best treasured memory, and temporarily moving everyone from 1 jordan road to somewhere in sham shui po or tseung kwan o . . .
by then, much will be gone.
btw will someone tell me if there's still gonna be a mini bazaar this year? =(

yep, mini bazaar on 20th. :| moving in 2008 from jordan to sham shui po for 3 years while destruction/construction goes on in jordan... then we'll move back, but not to the same dgs we left.
apparently, as far as mrs lau is concerned, it'll be for good. she even went on to defend (badly) why she didn't allow any consultation period with the students.
if that's the way she's going to be running the school then i won't be all too sad to leave.
except what's gone will never be again. :(
that's really bad mentality ... remembering going there once on a debate at your school, can make adaptation to the architecture and preserve the history that it had built all these years. Can you bring me to the mini-bazaar, do you still remember, you were trapped with assignments last year?
